A must have November 6, 2009 Kee (London) 31 out of 32 found this review helpful
I have been a spray tanning technician for several years and this is the best self tanning product I have used. This is perfect for paler skin as it is quite subtle but still gives a good colour. I have used it on two consecutive nights to obtain a darker shade and both times it has turned out completely streak free and I have older, dryer skin. You must use gloves as it will stain your hands like St Tropez which can be very hard to remove even after a few minutes. I used latex gloves and they worked fine. A tip for doing your hands - leave them until last - remove the left glove and use the right gloved hand to apply the mousse to it. When you do your right hand use the glove you removed by scrunching it up to make a ball. Apply the mousse to the ball and spread it over the hand and around between the fingers, that way you will not need to wash your hands at all. If any mousse gets onto the nails then remove with an old tooth brush or nail brush but don't get it too wet, a tiny bit of water and some soap will be fine. Put on some loose dark clothing and you're done, you get no stickiness with this product! Leave the mousse overnight and wash the guide coat off the next morning to reveal a very realistic golden tan! Keep your skin moisturised to prolong the tan and as this is so cheap there is no reason not to use it every few days as a top up for a permanent tan.
The Best Out There!! August 23, 2009 H. McAllister (Glasgow) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
I have tried all types of fake tan and by far this is the best!
You are left with a streak free finish. I do recommend to use a tanning mit or gloves. You are left with a golden brown colour which looks natural and is not harming your skin at all. For the price of St Moriz it is well worth it!!!
Highly recommendable October 10, 2009 Lilliana (Bratislava, Slovak Republic) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I am very satisfied with this product so far. I only received it a couple of days ago, but I already like it a lot. The texture of this product - a very light mousse - is very easy to blend into my skin, it dries very quickly, it's literally seconds, so I don't have to wait for ages for the mousse to soak in, it leaves no streaks and the color is very natural (no orange, fake-looking tan). In fact, yesterday, I was given a compliment about the color of my complextion and the girl who made the compliment didn't think it was a fake tan. So I recommended her the product immediately.
The bottom line: if you like to have a tan, but don't take sunbaths (like me, since I am naturally pale and lightly allergic to sun), this might be a good product for you. I have tried various self-tanning cremes and lotions and I think I like this the best. It works for me very well.
So easy! August 29, 2010 R. Hemingway (UK) Even I can use this product without resembling a pack of streaky bacon. Easy to use & fair price - all in all, it's very difficult to criticise it.
Simply the best (opinion of a beauty editor!) May 23, 2010 manc_lass_2005 (Manchester, UK) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Wow, wow, wow! This is the best self tan bar none. It ticks every box: Easy to apply, has a colour guide so you can see where you've done, the colour guide is a nice tanned tone so you can go out straight away without the 'I've rolled in a muddy field' look, dries almost instantly, has very little fake tan smell, very rarely streaks, colour is natural and gives a good medium tan, and best of all it is supercheap!
I was convinced all the hype was just that and avoided trying it until two months ago. I even wondered if all the online reviews and videos of people singing its praises had been created by the marketing team at St Moriz. But several colleagues had tried it, loved it, and persuaded me to try it too.
Until a year ago I worked as a beauty editor on a daily newspaper and, believe me, I have tried every fake tan going (and always for free). Even the most expensive fake tans can't match St Moriz. Even if it was £30 (like the its doppelgänger) I would think it was worth every penny.
This is one of my all time beauty product greats and, having fair skin that never tans, is an absolute Godsend. It just amazes me that this is still a relatively well kept secret. A little part of me hopes it will stay that way so that the price stays cheap!
